Demerara Jewellery (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to providing secure, reliable, and timely shipping for all jewellery orders. This Shipping Policy outlines how we process, deliver, and handle all shipments within Canada and internationally.


Processing Times

Ready-Made Items:

  • Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days.

Custom or Made-to-Order Items:

  • Processing and production times vary based on the complexity of the design.

  • Standard production time range: 2–8 weeks.

  • Rush orders may be available upon request at an additional fee.

We will notify you when your order has shipped or if there are any unexpected delays.


Shipping Methods & Rates

All orders are shipped through reputable carriers such as Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, or Purolator.

Shipping options include:

  • Standard Shipping (tracked): delivery in 3–10 business days

  • Express Shipping: delivery in 1–3 business days

  • Local Pickup (by appointment only): available at our Markham location

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.


International Shipping

We ship worldwide; however, customers are responsible for:

  • Customs duties

  • Import taxes

  • Brokerage fees

These charges vary by country and are not included in the purchase price.


Delivery Issues

Once a package is marked as Delivered, Demerara Jewellery is no longer responsible for:

  • Lost or stolen packages

  • Delivery to incorrect addresses provided by the customer

If your package is lost in transit (not yet marked delivered), please contact us immediately so we can initiate a carrier investigation.


Order Changes & Address Corrections

Changes to shipping information must be submitted before the order ships.
We are not responsible for delays or losses resulting from incorrect addresses supplied at checkout.
